NEWGEN’s ‘ones to watch’ sparking a conversation between race and fashion.

Bianca Saunders, Nicholas Daley and Grace Wales Bonner have joined have all acquired sponsorship under the NEWGEN initiative all of whom spark a conversation on racial identity and non-conformity within their collections. Bianca Saunders is one of the few black female proponents of menswear fashion, whose artistry seeks to challenge preconceived archetypes of black masculinity.

The NEWGEN programme is a great platform for these emerging designers and will increase global recognition and scope of their brands. Following in the footsteps of notable NEWGEN alumni Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane and Erdem.
