Jonathan Saunders, known for his work on prints and emotions produced an extravagant clothing collection for London Spring Fashion Week 2016, so much so that we are still fixated with it.
His unusual colour sense was a clear standout in his collection as this time he went transcontinental. Paisley from India, kimono shapes from Japan and tile prints from Middle East were stitched together in different shades giving out absolutely gorgeous pieces.
There were bias cut slip dresses with one done in blocks of red silk and peach chiffon and others in contrasting brown hues which showed his affection for the colour brown.
The supple diagonal cut gave every piece a sensual yet casual look.
The kimono like dresses were styled out in leaf pattern with shades of mint green, red and yellow.
But Hedwig Palm’s one-shouldered dress was the centre of attraction. The polka dots patterned dress in shades of blue and purple looked absolutely gorgeous.
The collection clearly showed off Saunder’s blissed state of mind.
I would love to have one in my wardrobe. !
